Why prescription readings need review
A prescription photo may be blurry or cropped, and handwritten letters or numbers can look alike. An AI-generated summary is not a confirmed transcription of a prescriber’s instructions.
Where mistakes can happen
Similar-looking letters or numbers may be confused, and a medicine strength or direction may not be visible. Models may also provide general context that is not what the prescriber wrote. Compare the transcription with the image; general medicine context is not evidence of what was prescribed.
How to review a summary
Compare each medicine name, strength, direction, and duration with the original image. Review every field marked for review. If a name, number, or instruction is unclear, do not guess; ask a pharmacist or prescriber to confirm it.
What the tool does not do
It does not diagnose a condition, select treatment, determine a dose, or replace instructions from a prescriber or pharmacist. General medicine information cannot account for a person’s history or circumstances.
Privacy in brief
Image processing depends on the model provider enabled by the service administrator and may involve Gemini, OpenRouter, CometAPI, or Groq. Provider terms differ. If Jev quality triage is enabled, it receives only bounded counts, categories, and flags—not the image, prescription text, or direct personal identifiers.
